While many seasonal routes to and from Italy are closing at the end of summer, new routes instead promise connections to cities from Porto to Tel Aviv."

Several airlines are adding or expanding routes connecting Italy's biggest airports to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for the autumn-winter 2025 season. Wizz Air will base a second Airbus A321neo at Naples from October 2025, introducing 45 new flights including Brasov, Tel Aviv, Chisinau and a year-round Sharm el-Sheikh service. EasyJet will launch Milan Malpensa–Strasbourg (two weekly from 7 November 2025), Milan Linate–Porto (four weekly from 26 October 2025) and Rome–Strasbourg (two weekly from 28 November 2025). ITA Airways will begin Rome–Mauritius twice weekly from 7 November 2025. Specific start dates and weekly frequencies are listed for each route.
