I spent 4 nights at an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica. I didn't think I'd like it, but I never left the property and can't wait to do it again.
"When our friends asked if my husband and I would consider traveling to Jamaica for their destination wedding, we said yes immediately. We imagined spending our days exploring waterfalls, hiking through the Blue Mountains, and snorkeling in clear waters. After all, we tend to seek adventure when we take trips. Once we found out the wedding was at the Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa, an all-inclusive resort, we decided to let ourselves relax for four nights."
"The resort had a lot of activities, from boating to beach volleyball. We might not have left the all-inclusive resort, but that doesn't mean we didn't do anything. The resort offered yoga classes, and some people in our group took advantage of the golf courses near the property. My friends and I also got competitive during a few games of beach volleyball. The price of our stay included unlimited access to nonmotorized watercrafts, and I never pass up an opportunity to kayak in the sea."
The couple spent four nights at the Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa and did not leave the all-inclusive property except for airport transfers. They paid $1,904 for an oceanfront junior suite with a slight room-block discount. The rate included unlimited food, alcoholic beverages, and entertainment. Resort offerings included yoga classes, access to nearby golf, beach volleyball, unlimited nonmotorized watercraft, kayaking, and an included sailboat excursion a mile offshore. The couple tried tropical cocktails beyond their usual beer and bourbon choices. The all-inclusive package provided ample activities and relaxation while keeping the total cost under $2,000.
