"Its 27 elegant rooms sport gorgeous fabrics and vintage furniture, and the hotel has an inviting rooftop terrace in addition to private balconies on the upper floors. Much quieter than the tourist-filled areas in central Paris, yet easily accessible on public transport, Hotel Noucha is a home-from-home in a well-heeled residential neighbourhood, ideally located for the plethora of museums and key sights in the 16th arrondissement."
"I was visiting Paris for the David Hockney exhibition at the Louis Vuitton Foundation on the edge of the Bois de Boulogne, which is on the outskirts of the city. I always visit the Frank Gehry-designed museum when I am in Paris, as it consistently hosts exciting retrospectives in its contemporary setting. It takes some time to reach the museum from the inner arrondissements, but from Hotel Noucha, I hailed an Uber and was at the entrance within 10 minutes."
"Invited to review Hotel Noucha, I was delighted to be shown up to the Junior Suite, which had a wrap-around terrace with views over the two adjoining streets. Parisian hotel bedrooms are notoriously bijoux, but this one was a good size. The decor was elegant and understated and full of little surprises. My favourite was the headboard, the fabric of which became a small canopy a contemporary nod to the four-poster. Original artworks and attractive wooden furniture created a mid-century feel."
