Disneyland to eliminate early entry for all Disney hotel guests
Briefly

Hotel guests previously received 30-minute early entry into Disneyland or Disney California Adventure, allowing access to select rides, shops, and dining before general opening. That perk applied to guests at the Disneyland Hotel, Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and Pixar Place Hotel. Starting Jan. 5, 2026, hotel guests will instead receive one Lightning Lane pass to an attraction with the benefit; stays prior to that date will retain early entry. Disneyland officials said early entry "was not widely used." Oga's Cantina stopped new reservations Aug. 19 and will transition to walk-up standby while honoring existing bookings. The Pixar Place Hotel entrance to Disney California Adventure will close Jan. 5, 2026 "with no plans to reopen," and guests can use the Grand Californian entrance.
