Disney Just Announced New Attractions and Major Discounts for 2026-Including a Muppets Roller Coaster

"At Walt Disney World, park goers can look forward to brand new attractions, including the newly-reimagined Test Track presented by General Motors and Magic Kingdom's The Beak & Barrel. Over in Southern California, Disneyland is in the midst of its resort-wide 70th celebration, which includes the new attraction "Walt Disney-A Magical Life" honoring the legacy of its founder. "The highly-anticipated Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets will open in summer 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios. "You bet we'll have rock as we roll across Hollywood on a wild ride with the Electric Mayhem-complete with backstage chaos, high-speed thrills, that signature Muppet humor... and an all-new Muppet Audio-Animatronics figure," Disney shared in a release. Disney's Animal Kingdom's iconic Tree of Life Theater will welcome a new production this fall when "Zootopia: Better Zoogether!" opens Nov. 7."

Walt Disney World will open the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster starring The Muppets in summer 2026 at Disney's Hollywood Studios, debut Zootopia: Better Zoogether! at the Tree of Life Theater on Nov. 7, and update Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff Audio-Animatronics on Frozen Ever After to mirror Hong Kong Disneyland's advanced figures. Test Track has been reimagined and Magic Kingdom added The Beak & Barrel. Disneyland is celebrating its resort-wide 70th with Walt Disney-A Magical Life. Disney World increased pricing for tickets, annual passes, parking, and Lightning Lane but introduced 2026 packages offering up to $250 per night off four-night-plus hotel bundles, free kids' dining plans, and up to 25% savings at select hotels.
