Tesco Potters Bar recently awarded £5,000 to Carers in Hertfordshire, aiding young carers through a customer-led competition. Shoppers participated in a lucky dip to find a golden token, which represented their chance to vote for one of three chosen charities. Carers in Hertfordshire, the winning charity, will use the funds to organize triage and activity days designed to support young caregivers and their families. Representatives from both Tesco and the charity expressed gratitude for this partnership and shared their dedication to enhancing the lives of these young carers and fostering community engagement.
