At a recent meeting in Seattle, activists celebrated their increasing visibility and influence, insisting their efforts have drawn attention to corporate accountability. During a recent earnings call, Musk acknowledged the protests against his Department of Government Efficiency initiative, claiming they were organized and funded. The Troublemakers, however, aim to highlight environmental and anti-corruption issues rather than simply criticizing Musk's corporate actions.
Musk suggested that not only were they paid for their time, they were only interested in his work because they had once received 'wasteful largesse' from the federal government.
