FAA green-lights Starship launches every other week from Starbase
Briefly

SpaceX received approval from the FAA to ramp up Starship launches from five to 25 a year at its South Texas site. The FAA found that this increase would not significantly impact the human environment. This decision follows a draft finding from six months prior. The increase in truck traffic, essential for delivering water and propellants, will rise dramatically, leading the FAA to require mitigation measures to lessen environmental impacts, such as shuttles for employees and limiting certain operations to daylight hours.
The FAA will now allow SpaceX up to 25 Starship launches a year, increasing from the previous limit of five, following a review that found no significant environmental impact.
Mitigation measures required by the FAA include employee shuttles and limited water truck deliveries to daytime hours to minimize traffic impacts on wildlife.
