As temperatures rise in Toronto, the city has proactively decided to open 15 outdoor pools ahead of schedule, starting from Saturday. This initiative, intended to offer residents a reprieve from the summer heat, facilitates access to recreational swimming options. The pools will be available until mid-September, operating on weekday evenings and during weekend afternoons. In addition to the pools, splash pads are currently operational, complemented by the opening of wading pools on June 27. The full summer schedule will be in effect by June 28, enhancing community engagement during the hot weather.
In response to rising temperatures, the City of Toronto is preemptively opening 15 outdoor pools, providing residents with much-needed relief from the summer heat.
The early opening of these pools not only aims to enhance community enjoyment during the warmer months but also seeks to promote health and well-being throughout Toronto.
