The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the Seattle Mariners 4-3 in Game 7 of the ALCS to win the American League pennant and advance to the World Series for the first time since 1993. George Springer hit a late three-run homer that vaulted the Jays into the lead and ultimately decided the game. Fans flooded Front Street outside Rogers Centre, chanting, dancing and celebrating into the night, with many wearing vintage Jays gear and showing strong emotion. The Jays will face the defending champion Los Angeles Dodgers, with Game 1 scheduled at Rogers Centre Friday night.
