On November 11, plainclothes officers were conducting an unrelated investigation on Queen Street W. when three people arrived in a stolen vehicle and fired shots at a building being used as a recording studio.
People at the recording studio returned fire, and the suspects took cover behind an unmarked police car that had two officers inside before fleeing.
Police have made a total of 36 arrests related to the incident and seized several firearms, with four more suspects arrested in Mississauga on July 24.
Investigators continue to search for three more suspects connected to the gunfight, which has resulted in 88 charges being laid in connection with the case.
