Mae’s win marked her second consecutive award, following a 2025 Jack Graney Award from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame. Dan Shulman won Best Sports Play-by-Play announcer for Blue Jays telecasts, repeating a prior win for the 2022 season. He returned to the Blue Jays for a second stint before the 2016 regular season after 15 years away, and his career includes ESPN baseball and NCAA basketball broadcasts. Shulman’s honors include 2011 NSMA National Sportscaster of the Year, two-time Sports Media Broadcaster of the Year, the Jack Graney Award in 2020, and three-time finalist status for the National Baseball Hall of Fame’s Ford C. Brick Award.
