Scott Laughton explains why he had poor start with Maple Leafs
Briefly

Toronto acquired Scott Laughton from Philadelphia at the trade deadline for a first-round pick and prospect Nikita Grebenkin to fill a bottom-six centre role. Laughton appeared in 20 regular-season games for Toronto, scoring two goals and four points with a minus-1 rating. He posted a 54.7 percent faceoff win rate but had a 35.7 percent 5-on-5 on-ice shot attempt percentage. Laughton traced his slow start to the challenge of leaving long-term relationships and adjusting to a new environment after spending his entire professional career with the Flyers since being drafted in 2012.
"It was hard. Definitely a change,"
"When you're with one team for that long, you get to know everyone. You build those relationships, and that's probably the toughest part is leaving those relationships."
