"It fell right in front of my feet and I literally just picked it up."
"It's such a fantastic experience to catch the ball and I can't wait to take it home to my two girls."
"I'm zipping it in my pocket."
Meghan Roach, CEO of Roots, caught Bo Bichette's three-run home run ball in the bottom of the third inning of World Series Game 7 at Rogers Centre. The ball landed a few rows over the centre-field wall in Section 148 and fell at her feet; she picked it up during the sellout crowd's reaction. Bichette's homer was his first playoff home run and gave the Blue Jays a 3–0 lead. Roach attended the game with her siblings, described the moment as overwhelming, said she will take the ball home to her two girls, and kept it zipped in her pocket as a trophy.
