Graham Greene died Monday in Stratford, Ont., at the age of 73. He was an Oneida actor from the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario known for roles including Kicking Bird in Dances with Wolves, The Green Mile and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. His television work included Northern Exposure, Reservation Dogs and The Last of Us. He began acting after a roadie offered him an opportunity, tried it despite having no theatre experience, and loved the work. His career spanned almost five decades and earned two Gemini Awards, a Canadian Screen Award, a Grammy and the 2025 Governor General's Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement.
