
Max Domi will be out indefinitely after undergoing off-season surgery for an undisclosed issue. The Toronto Maple Leafs reported that complications followed the procedure. Domi had played through the injury during the 2025-26 season. He will continue working with the team’s medical staff and will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp. Domi is 31 years old and has produced 36 points with 12 goals and 24 assists, along with 95 penalty minutes, in 80 regular-season games. He signed a four-year, $15 million US contract extension in July 2024. Drafted 12th overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in 2013, he has 486 career points in 815 regular-season games across multiple NHL teams.
