Maple Leafs' Max Domi undergoes offseason surgery, will be re-evaluated at training camp

Max Domi underwent offseason surgery and is out indefinitely due to complications from the procedure. He will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp. Domi played through an undisclosed injury during the 2025-26 season, recording 12 goals and 36 points in 80 games as a top-six right wing. When he was on the ice at 5-on-5, Toronto controlled 44 percent of expected goals, and he finished with a -29 rating, the second-worst on the team.
