Health Canada is recalling seven baby loungers and has identified numerous baby nests and loungers that do not meet Canadian safety regulations. The recall covers brands including BChic and Chicure, FFQRLP Brand, HAPDEN Travel Portable Crib, Housbay, La Millou, Style Life Eleven, Zoomie Kids and Vevor. Products were sold on online marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, AliExpress, Wayfair and Vevor. The recalled items pose hazards including strangulation, choking, entrapment and falling. Health Canada is conducting a sampling and evaluation program for these products and warns that the safest place for an infant to sleep is on their back in a compliant crib, cradle or bassinet.
