2026 Blue Jays schedule gives Toronto a chance to ease into the season
Briefly

The Toronto Blue Jays begin the 2026 season Thursday, March 26 at home versus the Athletics, with an off-day followed by two additional games. The Rockies visit for three games before Toronto starts a three-game road trip in Chicago to face the White Sox. Toronto will play six more early home games, with 12 of the first 15 scheduled at Rogers Centre to minimize exposure to early spring weather. Early opponents include the LA Dodgers and Minnesota Twins, with visits to Milwaukee, Arizona and Los Angeles to play the Angels. April ends with home series versus Cleveland April 24-26 and Boston April 27-29. The 2025 April slate was much tougher, contributing to a 14-16 record while the roster stabilized.
The Blue Jays open the season on Thursday, March 26 at home against the Athletics. After an off-day on Friday, the series resumes for two more games on Saturday and Sunday. The Colorado Rockies are in town for three games, before Toronto goes on the road for the first time, with a quick three game stop in Chicago to play the White Sox.
The Blue Jays then play six more at home and a total of 12 of their first 15 will be played inside the confines of the Rogers Centre, which will help them avoid any nasty early spring weather. Those final six games as mentioned will be against the LA Dodgers and the Minnesota Twins. Other opponents in the month include a visit to Milwaukee, Arizona and LA to play the Angels.
