The show honored the Los Angeles Dodgers' repeat World Series win with a troupe performance of Randy Newman’s "I Love L.A." Couples performed Paso Doble, Jive, Contemporary, Viennese Waltz or Jazz, then split into two groups for a team challenge with live performances by Chicago and Kool and the Gang. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough joined each team. Judges' scores ranged from 68 to 79, and Danielle Fishel and partner Pasha Pashkov were eliminated; Fishel called the experience life changing.
