Pennywise finally reveals himself in Episode 5, "29 Neibolt Street," when the characters descend into Derry's sewers and the predator-prey dynamic flips. Pennywise traps Hallorann inside a memory-like psychic space where Hallorann reunites with his grandmother Rose and confronts traumatic elements of his origin.
