Miss J. Alexander suffered a stroke on December 27, 2022, waking in a hospital confused about his location. He spent five weeks in a coma, emerged unable to walk or talk, and experienced intense emotional distress, stating he cried. The 67-year-old former runway coach and judge, born Alexander Jenkins, worked on America's Next Top Model from 2003 to 2012 and taught models how to walk. Close friends and former ANTM stars Jay Manuel and Nigel Barker visited during his recovery. Tyra Banks texted expressing that she wanted to visit but did not visit.
