Following this, he will be absent from training camp. No. 1 pick Cameron Ward is expected to take the first team snaps, supported by Brandon Allen. Levis will not participate in the training camp, as No. 1 pick Cameron Ward takes all first team reps with Brandon Allen backing him up.
Levis finished the previous season with a 2-10 record as a starter, throwing for 2,091 yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions.
Despite the shoulder injury, Levis trained in the offseason with Jordan Palmer and appeared ready for competition during OTAs and minicamp.
