"Because even though its a game set on Earth there's something that just makes sense about the occasional alien showing up, too. That's what we got in episode two, "The Golden Rule," when a pair of BoS soldiers find a Zetan in a fridge at Area 51. These little green men first made their appearance in a Fallout 3 DLC called Mothership Zeta that centered around your abduction and subsequent escape from a flying saucer."
Season two of Fallout packs numerous easter eggs that reward longtime fans with direct game references and cameos. The Vault-Tec salesman from Fallout 4 appears in a pre-apocalypse flashback, arriving in a blue truck and offering a door-to-door pitch, mirroring the game's opening. Episode two features a discovered Zetan corpse in an Area 51 freezer, nodding to Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta DLC and other alien appearances across the franchise. Multiple episodes contain background props, iconic characters, and even nods to franchise creators, creating an interwoven continuity between the show's world and game lore.
