Dana Eden, 52, was found dead in a hotel in Athens while in Greece for the filming of the fourth season of Tehran. Greek police said initial indications suggested she had taken her own life and that there was no suspicion of foul play. Israeli public broadcaster KAN described Eden as a leading figure in Israel's television industry and praised her professional work and dedication. KAN did not give a cause of death. Eden's production company denied rumors of a criminal or nationally motivated death and asked for respect for the family's privacy. The death prompted expressions of sorrow from colleagues and officials.
