"After dispensing with all the pod-based drama, season ten of Love Is Blindmoves on to the familiar next phase of the series: the romantic getaways. This time, six engaged couples were flown to Cabo for the experiment's second stage, but before launching into the inevitable beach parties and furious arguments once everyone gets back to their hotel rooms, there's an unusual explanatory note:"
"According to Love Is Blindcreator Chris Coelen, it's been a question of resources. The show generally uses a production crew capable of following, at most, six couples on the tropical retreat. "This season, we felt so good about the couples that for the VERY FIRST TIME we chose to follow SEVEN of them, producing the biggest season in Love Is Blind history!""
Season ten of Love Is Blind advances from the pods to romantic getaways, flying six engaged couples to Cabo while Vic and Christine travel separately to Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. The Malibu footage shows the couple's sleep, activities, and insistence that they are getting along. The series rarely isolates a couple because production crews typically follow at most six couples on the tropical retreat. Producers expanded to follow seven couples this season, so one couple was offered a solitary Malibu getaway because they had fewer intersecting relationships with the other remaining couples, and they accepted.
