'King of the Hill' cast on Comic-Con, show's return and what Hank would think of cosplay
Briefly

'King of the Hill' is set to return for a new season on August 4 on Hulu and Disney+. Executive producer Saladin Patterson shared humorous insights about the character Hank Hill's perspective on Comic-Con's cosplay environment. Cast member Pamela Adlon noted that Comic-Con aligns closely with her character Bobby Hill's interests. Toby Huss acknowledged the long-time viewers' support as a significant reason for the show's revival. The atmosphere at Comic-Con felt like a family reunion for cast and creators alike.
Executive producer and showrunner Saladin Patterson joked that Hank Hill might not feel at home among the capes and costumes. "I think Hank would really question why grown people, in the middle of the day, are dressed up and not at work," Patterson commented.
Pamela Adlon, who voices Bobby Hill, said Comic-Con is exactly where her character would thrive. "Bobby embraces this culture... this is very much a part of his DNA," she said.
Toby Huss, who voices fan-favorite Kahn Souphanousinphone and Cotton Hill, credited longtime viewers for the revival. "I think it's very sweet - these are the people that kept the whole show going all this time. One of the big reasons it's coming back."
