"After selling his family's ranch and vowing to leave all of Yellowstone's violence behind, the character now returns to just the oppositeand it seems like fans finally have a reason why. "Paramount Network has yet to confirm whether Ashbille will return for Marshalseven in flashbacksbut her absence is enough of a shock to convince Kayce to reconnect with his old Navy SEAL buddies and join the US Marshals in Montana. They'll need him, because Montana is currently dealing with the most violent criminal network in this hemisphere, according to Kayce's new pals."
Kayce Dutton sold his family's ranch and vowed to leave violence behind but now returns to violence after the apparent death of his wife, Monica Dutton. A bedsheet is pulled over a dead body while Kayce and his son, Tate, watch, prompting Kayce to vow vengeance. The absence of Monica convinces Kayce to reconnect with his former Navy SEAL comrades and join the U.S. Marshals in Montana. The series indicates Montana faces the most violent criminal network in the hemisphere. Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty reprise their roles. Paramount has not confirmed whether Kelsey Asbille will appear in flashbacks.
