Katie Leung, known for playing Cho Chang, joins Bridgerton season four as Lady Araminta Gun. Lady Araminta Gun is a steely mother trying to marry off her two daughters while keeping her stepdaughter Sophie as a servant. Sophie meets Benedict Bridgerton at a masquerade ball and captivates him, complicating Gun's plans. Leung felt blessed to join Netflix's Bridgerton and found the series' inclusion and diversity behind and in front of the camera made her feel safe. Leung emphasized that playing a mother whose ethnicity is not central allows portrayal of family dynamics often lacking on screen. Bridgerton returns in two parts on 21 January and 26 February.
