Jonathan Ross told off by BBC after discussing The Celebrity Traitors
"In a recent episode of this podcast, , which he hosts with his daughter, Honey, Ross said he "didn't actually enjoy" his time on the hit BBC series, calling the experience "uncomfortable." He also discussed moments that had been cut from the first two episodes, including "many funny things" from Carr. "There's something that happens later on that I know, which should be in but isn't in."
"Ross indicated as much when he shared in the most recent episode of Reel Talk that he'd been sent a "comprehensive list" of things he was "not allowed to talk about." He indicated the rest of the cast had been sent the same list as well. Ross also said: "I didn't realise, but I'm not allowed to talk about the stuff that's edited out, which I can understand why. "So, I'll skirt around as much as possible and not break any rules.""
Jonathan Ross is one of three Traitors still in The Celebrity Traitors alongside Cat Burns and Alan Carr. Ross said he didn't actually enjoy his time on the show and described the experience as uncomfortable. He mentioned that moments had been cut from the first two episodes and that there is notable unseen material involving Alan Carr. Production sent Ross and the rest of the cast a comprehensive list of topics they are not allowed to discuss. Ross said he will avoid talking about edited-out content and understands the restrictions aim to protect the integrity of the game as a viewing experience. The show airs on BBC1 and iPlayer on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
