Jen Shah pleaded guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud for a telemarketing scheme that targeted the elderly. The Federal Bureau of Prisons approved a December 10 release after Shah served roughly 2.5 years of a 6.5-year sentence. Her time served was reduced multiple times for good behavior and program participation, including a March 2023 one-year reduction and an October 2024 eight-month cut. Shah ran a prison workout class, Shah-mazing Abs, reportedly attended by Elizabeth Holmes. Questions remain about whether she will rejoin the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast.
