"The third season of House of the Dragon may still be many, many months away. But HBO remains red-hot on the Game of Thrones prequel epic, with a fourth season renewal announced today during a press presentation in New York City. On November 20, the same day that HBO's parent company Warner Bros. set its deadline for first-round bids to buy the company, HBO held a press presentation announcing season renewals of many of its most popular TV and streaming shows."
"Said Francesa Orsi, EVP of HBO Programming and Head of HBO Drama Series and Films in a statement: "We are thrilled to be able to deliver new seasons of these two series for the next three years, for the legion of fans of the Game of Thrones universe. Together, House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms reveal just how expansive and richly imagined George R. R. Martin's universe continues to be.""
