The Madison is an independent series created by Taylor Sheridan featuring Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, Matthew Fox, and Will Arnett. The story centers on the Clyburn family who leave their Manhattan apartments and move to Montana following a loved one's death, where they confront their grief amid the region's natural beauty. Though initially believed to be a Yellowstone spin-off, Paramount confirmed The Madison operates as a standalone series. Director Christina Alexandra Voros, who worked on Yellowstone season 5, helmed all six episodes that Sheridan wrote. The series comprises two seasons of six episodes each, with the first season releasing on Paramount+ in March 2024 through a split schedule.
