The nominations for the 52nd annual Daytime Emmy Awards have been announced. "General Hospital" leads with 16 nominations, including Outstanding Daytime Drama series and performance nods for lead and supporting actors. Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are nominated for their talk show "Live with Kelly and Mark." "The View" also receives nominations in the same category. National Geographic's "National Parks: USA" is recognized in the Outstanding Science and Nature Program category. Additionally, Anthony Mackie is nominated for Outstanding Daytime Personality for his documentary series.
"General Hospital" earned a whopping 16 nominations, including Outstanding Daytime Drama series, writing, directing and several technical nods.
