Kevin Bakhurst is not considering a move to a British broadcaster following Tim Davie's resignation. Kevin Bakhurst and senior RTÉ management appeared before the Oireachtas Media Committee yesterday regarding the voluntary exit scheme. RTÉ plans to reduce its workforce by 400 over the next five years. Workforce reductions will occur through voluntary exit schemes, retirements, resignations and suppression of roles. The planned measures aim to reshape staffing levels and deliver long-term cost adjustments across the broadcaster through a combination of immediate exits and ongoing position suppressions.
