Fox News Tops Broadcast Networks in Primetime for Three Straight Weeks

Fox News achieved three consecutive weeks of primetime viewership supremacy, leading all of cable news and broadcast networks. From July 7 to 13, Fox averaged 2.4 million viewers, surpassing NBC’s 2.2 million and both CBS and ABC at 2 million each. Overall, Fox has maintained a total average of 2.98 million viewers since Memorial Day. Broadcast television experienced a decline, dropping below 20 percent of TV viewing for the first time, with Fox's The Five achieving 3.5 million average viewers and Jesse Watters Primetime at 3.4 million, outperforming even CBS’s Big Brother.
Fox News extended its winning streak over the broadcast outlets to three consecutive weeks of weekday primetime domination, topping all of cable news and major broadcast networks.
Fox averaged 2.4 million primetime viewers from July 7 to July 13, surpassing NBC's 2.2 million and CBS's and ABC's 2 million each for the week.
June saw broadcast TV hit a new low, with Nielsen's Gauge rankings finding broadcast dipped below 20 percent of total television viewing for the first time, cratering to 18.5 percent.
Fox's The Five continued to dominate all of cable news, bringing in a whopping 3.5 million average viewers last week, while Jesse Watters Primetime had 3.4 million viewers.
