Far Cry will be adapted into an anthology television series for FX and Hulu, with each season featuring a new setting and a new cast. Noah Hawley will lead the project and intends to structure the show like Fargo, using recurring thematic variation to explore human nature through action and chaos. Rob Mac will executive-produce and star in the first season. Ubisoft publicly shared the announcement and promoted the series on its official Far Cry account. FX and Hulu have not announced a premiere window, and Hawley recently signed a new overall deal with FX and Disney Entertainment Television.
