"I try to think about the good moments. And oftentimes, that's here on the set."
"We're very passionate in our family about suicide prevention. It is the second leading cause of death between ages 18-25. But 90 percent of people who seek treatment are cured. And so many of the messages we get are people saying, 'I'm so grateful to have heard about your brother. He saved my life'."
"We're never gonna do [a reboot], because we're missing three cast members, three family members,"
"We have too much respect for the show itself and for the beautiful audience."
Ray Romano reunited original Everybody Loves Raymond cast for a 30th-anniversary special on CBS, recreating the Barone family living room with Patricia Heaton, Brad Garrett, Monica Horan, Madylin and Sullivan Sweeten. The Sweeten siblings remembered their late brother Sawyer Sweeten and emphasized suicide prevention, noting it is the second leading cause of death for ages 18–25 and that 90 percent of people who seek treatment are cured. Romano stated the show will not be rebooted because three original cast members are deceased, and creator Phil Rosenthal noted syndication allows fans to relive episodes and expressed respect for the show and its audience.
