Disney is gifting a handful of deserving families trips to Walt Disney World or Disney Cruise Line as part of the annual Holiday Spectacular special. Joe Worley and his family from Atlanta received a surprise trip and described the moment as "absolutely incredible." Worley served as a Navy Corpsman during the Iraq War, advocates for America's VetDogs, and is a foster and adoptive parent with his wife, Angel. Worley's service dog Scottie delivered the news from Disney Parks, wearing Mickey Mouse ears. Worley said the trip during Veteran's Week allows important, quality family time. The special premieres December 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and streams next day on Disney+, Hulu, and Disney YouTube. Disney is the parent company of ABC Localish and the station.
