Disney suspended Jimmy Kimmel Live! after Nexstar threatened to pull the show over Kimmel's comments about Charlie Kirk's death. Damon Lindelof announced he will not work for Disney while the suspension remains in place and questioned the line between hate speech and a joke. Lindelof emphasized his personal friendship with Jimmy Kimmel and praised Kimmel's character and family. Other celebrities, as well as the WGA and SAG-AFTRA, voiced support for Kimmel. Calls to boycott Disney have circulated, and Lindelof is the first creative to threaten a total boycott of working with the company.
