"As promised, Benedict has indeed secured Sophie a job! He just, uh, forgot to mention it is at Bridgerton House. But you know, he's only there sometimes! It's not like this will be in any way torturous or awkward for both of them, right? What Sophie doesn't know is that Lady Bridgerton doesn't really need more people on staff, plus she has heard whispers of this girl, and not the good kind."
"I am not sure how to describe the montage that follows, aside from calling it a romance montage of a blissful working class at work. I'm talking glamor shots of laundry being pressed, charming but appropriate banter between colleagues, and to top it off, Benedict even managed to get Hazel, the young maid whom Cavender was harassing, a gig at the family manse as well."
Benedict arranges employment for Sophie at Bridgerton House but neglects to mention the location. Lady Bridgerton feels she does not need extra staff and has heard unflattering whispers about Sophie. Violet learns of Sophie's lifesaving actions at My Cottage and that Cavender formerly employed her for Violet, leading Violet to appoint Sophie as Eloise and Hyacinth's lady's maid. A montage celebrates the staff at work, and Benedict also helps Hazel, a maid previously harassed by Cavender, gain employment at the manse. The household features expansive staff quarters, and the staff stage a full-on séance while Benedict continues searching for his Lady in Silver.
