Beavis and Butt-Head Look to "Buy Metallica" in Trailer for New Season
Briefly

Season 3 of Beavis and Butt-Head, the 11th overall, will premiere on September 3rd. The trailer reveals heightened antics, including a scene featuring Metallica. Singer James Hetfield interacts with Beavis and Butt-Head, humorously discussing their desire to buy the band with gold bars. Additionally, the pair is depicted in older age, humorously reflecting on the pains of headbanging. This season will have its episodes premiere on Comedy Central, differing from its predecessors, which streamed on Paramount+. Meanwhile, Metallica continues their world tour with more shows planned in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.
In one scene, Metallica are playing a concert when singer James Hetfield notices Beavis and Butt-Head hovering overhead in a helicopter filled with gold bars. "Beavis and Butt-Head, we love you guys," says the frontman into the mic, with Beavis yelling, "How much to buy Metallica?" Hetfield responds, "One gold bar oughta be enough," only to regret that answer in a big way.
Another scene depicts the pair as their older selves, complaining that headbanging hurts too much.
The upcoming season of Beavis and Butt-Head will premiere on September 3rd on Comedy Central, and the trailer suggests their hijinks are turned up to 11.
Metallica has completed the latest North American leg of their ongoing "M72 World Tour" and is set to hit Australia and New Zealand in November.
