Maynard has already purchased a bassinet, clothes, bags, and a copy of The Little Big Book for Grandmothers. Maynard had Ricki at 19 after the 2004 plane crash that killed her fiancé Ricky Hendrick days before Ricki's birth. Maynard lives in North Carolina with husband Tyler Johnson and six children, including 2-year-old Jones, who has Down syndrome; Ricki prayed over Jones while he was in the NICU.
