"In March 2024, Ark: The Animated Series was dropped on Paramount+ without much promotion. The series expanded on the Ark: Survival Evolved video game franchise across six episodes. Part 2 of the series was originally promised for release later 2024, and then for 2025. Now, the official social media account for Ark has confirmed that the animated series won't be back until 2026."
"Madeleine Madden has the leading role of Helena Walker, a widowed paleontologist who seemingly overdosed on pills while mourning her wife, Victoria. Instead of perishing, Helena awoke on the Ark, an isolated area that features humans from across the span of human history living alongside dinosaurs. It's survival of the fittest on the Ark, but Helena has made allies including her new lover, Meiyin Li (Yeoh)."
Ark: The Animated Series premiered on Paramount+ in March 2024 with six episodes and minimal promotion. Part 2 was initially scheduled for late 2024, then pushed to 2025, and is now delayed until 2026 per the official Ark social account. The series features prominent voice talent including Michelle Yeoh, Malcolm McDowell, David Tennant, Jeffrey Wright, Elliot Page, Karl Urban, Alan Tudyk, Vin Diesel, Russell Crowe, and Gerard Butler, with the latter three also serving as producers.
