"I'm very happy the Everybody Loves Raymond exhibit is going to be on display at the LIMEHOF, Ray Romano said. The Barone family were Long Islanders. It's our pleasure to share the show with the hometown crowd."
"I was blown away by what I saw, he said in a statement. Artistically, it was gorgeous. It was vibrant and really exciting. The exhibit designer, Kevin O'Callaghan, is crazy good. He's really a visionary."
An immersive Everybody Loves Raymond exhibition opens November 28 at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame in Stony Brook. The centerpiece is the full 70-foot-wide set built for the show's 30th anniversary special, which airs November 24 on CBS; the set has never been shown publicly. The exhibit merges elements from the Paley Museum Raymond show with the newly built anniversary set, designed by Kevin O'Callaghan. Visitors can walk through the Barone living room, kitchen and other house corners, view original costumes and iconic props, and watch multimedia clips in a surround-sound theater.
