The 2026 Winter Olympics open Feb. 6 with an opening ceremony at 1:40 p.m. Eastern and a Red Carpet segment at 10:15 a.m. Eastern. Early competitive action begins overnight with figure skating team events, rhythm dance, pairs short, and women's short segments starting as early as 3:55 a.m. Eastern. Mixed doubles curling round-robin matches feature Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Czechia, Estonia and South Korea throughout the morning. Alpine skiing downhill training runs and women's hockey group games appear in the schedule.
