Neos Networks expanded its partnership with Zen Internet by upgrading the Manchester–London corridor to 400Gbps to meet surging bandwidth demand driven by AI adoption, datacentre investment and full-fibre roll-out. Neos Networks operates a nationwide fibre network with more than 600 points of presence and 90 datacentres, delivering high-capacity connectivity for sectors including telecoms, energy, banking and emergency services. Zen Internet, headquartered in Rochdale with 650 employees, provides broadband, data, voice, hosting and infrastructure services and claims B Corp certification as the largest such telecoms provider in the UK. Zen’s network spans over 2,800 exchanges and leverages strategic partnerships with AWS and Cisco. The upgrade uses Neos’s core and exchange-backhaul services to strengthen resilience and support Zen’s expansion in the independent broadband (altnet) market.
