"The stations that should have mobile phone coverage by the end of this year have been named, along with the plans for the middle of next year. Mobile phone coverage was first provided as a trial on part of the Jubilee line in March 2020, and a full rollout started in December 2022. There have been delays to some of the rollouts, but there's now coverage along parts of most of the tube lines on the Underground and also the Elizabeth line."
"The rest of the work during 2026 will be primarily on some sections outside of Central London, sections of the Circle and District line where a number of stations already have limited mobile coverage due to being closer to the surface, as well as where smaller tunnelled sections need to be treated individually. All four mobile network operators - Three UK, EE, Vodafone, and Virgin Media O2 (VMO2) - are taking part in the rollout, which Boldyn Networks is deploying at no cost to TfL."
Ten London Underground stations are due to receive mobile phone coverage by the end of this year: Balham; Battersea Power Station (NLE); Bayswater; Blackfriars; Euston Square; Holloway Road; King's Cross St. Pancras; Mansion House; Moorgate; and Vauxhall. Coverage is also expanding inside the tunnels between stations. An additional group of stations—including Aldgate, Brixton, Liverpool Street, Paddington and Victoria—is planned for completion by June 2026. Remaining 2026 works will target sections outside Central London, parts of the Circle and District lines, and smaller tunnelled sections. All four major UK mobile operators are participating, with Boldyn Networks deploying the infrastructure at no cost to TfL.
