The route provides a unique low-latency inland pathway that enhances network diversity, resiliency, and redundancy for hyperscale and international carriers. The design delivers reliable, protected, multi-diverse connectivity options and expanded capacity to support growing international network demands. The project uses Ciena 6500 platform with WaveLogic 5 Extreme 800G coherent optics to enable high-capacity transmission and future scalability across Segra's network.
