Keysight Technologies and KT SAT executed a live multi-orbit proof-of-concept demonstrating session continuity from a geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) to an emulated low Earth orbit (LEO) link. The demonstration targeted integration of satellite and terrestrial networks for continuous coverage and resilient service as networks migrate toward 6G. The trial addressed engineering challenges such as long delays, Doppler effects and unstable links. The setup enabled controlled laboratory evaluation of real non-terrestrial network (NTN) behaviour before large constellations deployment. The demonstration used Ku‑band operation and KOREASAT-6A at KT SAT's Kumsan network operation centre, showing the industry's first NR-NTN multi-orbit handover and validating 3GPP Rel‑19 Ku‑band parameters.
